Will there be an update for gcc compiler? (C++11)

At Codeforces, they use gcc 4.6.0 which is very nice to practice the new C++ standard. I wonder if there is a plan to update the current gcc compiler to 4.6.0/4.7.0?

Even http://ideone.com/ uses gcc-4.7.2
So, I guess, codechef will soon change. After all, both uses SPOJ.
