Why is the score for challenge problem changing?

Why is the score for challenge problem changing after the end of the contest? If anything then it should have changed during the contest, so that one could make improvements on their scores!

because it is meant to be changed O.o Codechef challenge rules have been changed as mentioned in the link provided by bournecoder
