The work done should be in the coding involved,not in understanding the problem statement.So why don’t the problem setters put up completely unambiguous statements in the first place.Whoever responsible may please look into this.

I think it is happening for the first time that there are so many complaints about the formulation of questions and their test cases. But, anyway people who have designed the questions have put in some effort and we all miss things sometimes. Lets not demoralize them and help them improve the questions. Whatever problem you think is trouble, you can mail them.

I believe the real work should be done in understanding the problem, mostly in the area of competitive programming.
If the problem setters put straightforward problem statement, where’s the fun in simplifying it and then having your own ‘eureka!’ moment.
