i already have thorough knowledge of c++ but c++ is not that helpful in making apps
so can anyone please guide me on which language to prefer which is commonly used for making apps .
i know for making android apps i should learn java but is there any other better alternative
it depends on what kind of apps you’re interested in.

If you’re interested in making apps, then Java will be useful to you anyway, you should definitely learn it. I don’t think there’s a “better” alternative than the most widely used programming language at present.

Java is the best for making android apps. But you will need to learn a markup language (preferably xml) for designing the app.
