My team rank is 623 and we are third from our college.

for chennai, yes. For amritapuri, chances are low. Wait for the results

Since No of Distinct colleges are greater than number of slots for KOL/KAN, Second Rankers will not have chance. even if in case there are many teams who didn’t solve a single problem, then your overall rank needs to be really good ( <100 or 50 ) to be considered.
@swetankmodi What might be the cutoff rank for chennai site ( assuming one is top from his college ) ?
Really unpredictable. I was about the scrape the ranklist that day but they put it down. I think around 1300 (considering chennai has 70 seats only, since idk the exact seats)
@pankajkhan just a speculation might prove to be 100% wrong since we have no clue about the ranklist this year yet 
you mean 120 seats , right ? yeah , and we don’t know how much new ranklist will be different from old one with internal error updates
I think its delayed as they are not able to fix up the internal error issue and they only have the flawed and unfair ranklist, and don’t know what to do now!
Otherwise I don’t see how it can take 10+ days for plagiarism check and error fix.

No dishant_18 , no idea. I think after they publish results, they will put up problems for practice as well.
Don’t know what “soon” actually means now.
I had mailed them on 15th October asking when will the timing of the online round be declared. The reply was same. Soon. And then we got the timings. On 2nd November!

My team rank is 307 and college rank 19. In kolkata/kanpur college rank-6 amrita college rank-10. Are there any chances? Btw why is selection not merit-wise and this weird college rank system:(

@vijju123 Hell yes, seeing that combinatorial appraoach to Q3 reqd about 1.5 - 2 pages of derivation , while the guys who know probability derived in 4-5 lines! Yes, I too feel I should have taken probability deeply !
@dishant_18 Its easy to say for queries of Amritpuri and Kol-Kan . Amritpuri has 250 slots and 296 distinct colleges. Kol-Kan has 160 slots and 187 distinct colleges. So if anyone with not “too too bad rank” and being first in college from any of these sites is sure to go.
Its 187 too be precise ( ran the script again )
I got a message from codechef on facebook saying- “They will be announced by respective regional sites by the end of this week.”
