In my opinion, the method of selection of teams for Chennai site is way better than that at Amritapuri and Kolkata, as here, good teams that performed really well but couldn’t come first in their college got a chance at getting selected. I really hope that next year each and every site would have a certain amount of seat allocated to the college quota(say a maximum of 50-60%), and the rest of the teams should then be selected on the basis of the overall rank list.

In the amritapuri preference filling form, it’s mentioned that we need to provide our email id registered with the baylor site. Is it our personal email id that they are asking for or the coach’s email id(who registered for us)?

I checked. And we have been alloted Kolkata. But the destination and travel details haven’t been updated. Also when will registrations for onsite will start?
If Chennai could fix some seats for well performing teams when it had just 120 total seats , then so should Amrita and KOL-KAN when they had 250 and 160 slots respectively . !

How is the site allotted for Amritapuri onsite round?
According to the website it will be allotted alternately based on rank. But they also asked for preferences in confirmation form. Any chances for sites being allotted according to preference based on rank?
We need to know because we have to book tickets.
Do we need to register on baylor site after qualifying for regionals? Because chennai baylor shows last date to register as 22nd Nov and there is update on the chennai icpc website.
