You can surely participate in different coding competition held in various colleges… For getting an experience you can try VJTI Technovanza I code events… The registration is free. Prize money is worth 45000 .And you will get an on the spot certificate of participation

Hello @shanman17, Nice initiative to start the school programming club. Please have a look at this website about a contest called American Computer Science League. I did not look too closely but it does mention something about 5-member teams.
