A person’s username can not be changed.
But Why So,I think it can be be changed if codechef look into it

There has been already a discussion over it in the past so no mean of creating a new thread
No offense but I don’t see any good in changing usernames

over here at codechef people are known by usernames , suppose someone changes his username regularly , then it would be a problem to identify that person every-time , its good to have a one-time username.
yes you can put in an option to change it but that will spoil it with people trying out different usernames.
