partial points awarded for a few Contest problems

Hi all,
I am relatively new to codechef competitions and had a question.
I find that simetimes, even when a submitted solution is judged AC, the actual
points awarded for that solution is not 1 but something between 0 and 1.
Why does this happen? Something i can help, from my side?

in the long contests…it is called the challenge ques…it is a tie breaker ques…the 1 with more optimal output gets higher score…what u can do is try to optimize ur output as the question says…:slight_smile:
