I just started with codechef and submitted couple of solutions in java but I am getting NZEC error. Locally the code runs fine but it gives error when I upload it. Here are the links to my solution : http://www.codechef.com/viewsolution/2936964

First thing you can try is to remove try/catch blocks…
use io exception for the buffered reader and put the entire code in try catch block and in catch just write return; .
Just remove the package info, your code without the package got accepted when i tried

Nice catch, I’d expect compilation error for this…
