Can anyone please recommend some books on java…
as far as now…i know c/c++…i want to do question on codechef in java language…
i have “HEAD FIRST JAVA” AND “LET US JAVA BY YASHWANT KANECTKAR”…right now…
so please help me …so that i can learn java in a short period of time…

Use your knowledge of C/C++ as advantage, try to find some “Java for C/C++ developer” tutorials.
I found those:
With other “Java for dummies” books you it will be boring (I’m not saying nothing about quality of the linked books, just a general note)… Also try some favorite IDEs like Eclipse, NetBeans, Idea
