Is the Snackdown pre-elimination round just for practice, or will only a few teams qualify it?

No info regarding the number of teams that will qualify from the Snackdown Pre-elimination round has been given. Does that mean that the pre-elimination round is just for practice? Does that mean that all teams who qualified the online qualifiers 1A and 1B have been directly advanced to the elimination round?
