how to improve my rank when there is no contest ?? sometimes i miss the contests and can’t participate in each events so is there any way by which i can still increase my codeshef rank ???

Codechef ranks are affedted only by the 2 main official Codechef contest namely Long Challenge, Cook-offs.You cannot improve your rank without participation. I understand it is difficult to make time for every time but i think it will not be a very difficult task if you are determined and well organised! (a quality which i myself lack to some extent)
As @skbly7 said, keep practicing and plan well in advance to be free during contest hours.
