Last time, when our team went for Amritapuri Regionals, Our college reimbursed all travelling expenses and registeration fees for both rounds.They nearly reimbursed 7000/- rupees.

My team went to Gwalior regionals last time and was refunded complete travelling and registration charges.

After checking out the answers seems like centrally funded institutions such as IITs NITs etc. reimburse the cost.

No, this is not true. Not all centrally funded institutions reimburse the cost. Making an assumption on seeing 2 answer is not good idea.
