How to add the College-wise ranking plugin in chrome?
Whenever, I download the .crx file, it says “apps, extensions, scripts cannot be added from this website”.
Open the extensions tab (chrome://extensions) and drop your extension ( .crx file) on that page.

I am knowing about this problem, actually the plugins which are not installed through official Chrome extension store shows this problem.
Here is the solution, which I had posted together when announced about it for the first time.
